This Gingerbread House Street cross stitch pattern is the perfect project for the Christmas season. Each Victorian house has its own special decorations to welcome Santa. Green gumdrops line the houses like bushes and hard candies are used to add color and design to each house. Light powdered sugar dusts the ground for a freshly fallen snow look while icing is dripped from the eves and over hangs to create icicles.
Full cross stitches are used in this design, there isn't a single quarter stitch to be found in this project. It is designed using two colors of Mill Hill Beads and 14 colors of DMC floss. Back Stitching is used to add details.
The windows were designed purposely to be see through to see the fabric, however if you would prefer you could always fill them in with a DMC color or maybe doing some hardanger in those openings. The possibilities could be fun!
The stitch count is: 200w by 80h
